But let me back up. I wasn’t handed this life. I grew up in a small town, struggled with my weight, didn’t graduate high school, suffered from debilitating panic attacks, and had no clue how to break out of the box I believed I felt trapped in.
There was a moment in my life when I had to make an impossible choice: stay in the world I was raised in—shaped by my family’s beliefs and religion—or step into the woman I knew I was meant to become.
I chose me.
It meant leaving behind my family’s expectations, deep-rooted beliefs, and the safety of a community that didn’t allow outside connections. It also meant accepting I could no longer be part of that world—the people I loved and the identity I thought I had to hold onto.
It meant facing the fear of letting people down, being judged, and breaking everything I was taught to believe. But staying meant betraying myself, my purpose, and living an inauthentic life that was eating me alive. I couldn’t pay that price anymore.
Starting over was f*cking terrifying and lonely, but it was also freeing. Choosing myself was the hardest—and best—decision I’ve ever made.
I hustled. I took big risks. I failed hard (and often). But somewhere in that mess, I learned how to scale businesses, create brands people obsess over, and surround myself with a network of high-performing, no-excuses people who demand the best from themselves—and from me. That’s next-level accountability.
