When you go to set goals, do you know what it takes to really decide and commit to it?
Three factors that are very important when setting a goal are:
- Accountability Factor: You need to tell people about your goals. Proclaiming it to other people will immediately help you hold yourself accountable along with other people holding you accountable.
- Planning: Make a serious plan for your goal. A game plan that will take you from where you are now to where you want to be.
- Set a Deadline: By what date will you accomplish your goals? How will you feel and how will you CELEBRATE when you hit this deadline?!
Don’t get burnt out trying to chase your goals. Follow the three points above and you’ll feel a higher level of commitment and a lower level of stress!
