867. How To Make A Commitment & Move Forward On Your Dreams

I’ve definitely been guilty of deciding on something and then not fully committing to it, and let me tell you, it’s not a good feeling. Now, once I decide on something, I attach someone and something to it. I have an accountability partner and put my money where my mouth is, literally and figuratively. I’m sharing why making true commitments are so important and a few tools that I rely on when life comes at me and I’m really tempted to sell out my dream. If you know that deep down inside you’re not committed to something, it’s never going to happen. So, what’s stopping you?

866. Building A Business: How To Reach Out To Investors

Lauren and I are back with another BTS of building a business from the ground up! We’re talking all about female investors and building strategic partnerships. I share the moment that I realized that I wanted to expand the mission of Lite Pink and build this company with other powerful women. We discuss how to reach out to investors who bring value, audience, platform, skillset, and enthusiasm to your vision, and the role that their investment plays in your accountability and persistence. We also chat about why I decided to raise money instead of going the self-funded route and give a sneak peek at other conversations that you all can expect from upcoming episodes in this series.

865. What Do You Want From Life?

If nothing was considered unrealistic or impossible, what would you want out of life? This question came up in a book that I’m reading, The Rhythm of Life by Matthew Kelly, and Chris and I discuss exactly what our answers are to that question. We’ve been putting so much thought into what it means to build a life that we love and what needs to happen in order to achieve that. Really getting clear about your answer to this question will help support and guide you when making bold and scary dream-building decisions. We also talk about the importance of taking on challenges and knowing when to close the chapter of something that you’ve outgrown.
